Capercaillie -- I first heard about this band in Scotland -- before their recordings were available in the states. Since then, I've seen them playing at some Chicagoland Celtic festivals. I'm so crazy about this group I have just about every one of their disks.

Loreena McKinnett -- I accidentally learned about McKinnett by purchasing a used CD. I have every one of her disks, too, and was lucky enough to see her in Chicago years ago. The concert was amazing. I loved the collection of unusual instruments, the atmosphere of the concert as well as McKinnett's integrity! I can't wait for her next disk. Canadian Musician.
